Since my undergrad years studying finance, I have always been driven by the desire to contribute to the sustainable transformation of our economic systems.

While working in Brazil for McKinsey & Company, I discovered a passion for agriculture, which eventually led to the opportunity of launching and leading Varda as its CEO, and I am proud of our vision of the next Green Revolution enabled by farm & field data sharing.

With a background in investment banking and corporate M&A in Agriculture, I have spent my career structuring and executing transactions, enhancing people and businesses.

I am passionate about creating value across the board and committed with the next Green Revolution: promoting and measuring sustainable agriculture, while improving efficiency.

Leading Varda’s operations, is a combination of multiple and diverse tasks – from procurement to production and where boresome has no room.

I graduated in Information & Communication Technology in 2007 and have a PhD in Crop Production in 2010 from the University of Milan.

Since then, I have been working on the nexus of digital technologies and agriculture through initiatives in more than 20 countries across multilateral organizations, academia, and the private sector.

Bringing more than 10 years of international human resources experiences to the team, I have been supporting from small to large corporations across different sectors, to build up HR functions.

At Varda, I lead the people strategy, including global talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational design, compensation and benefits, HR operations  and technology, among others.
