Farmbits, a Belagrícola group company created in 2019, has just signed a partnership with Varda, adopting the Global FieldID tool in search of new markets and customer profiles in national retail. With the new tool – Global FieldID - a unique identifier for each field (mapping) and an API that facilitates the exchange of information between different systems – Farmbits will provide farmers and customers with a valuable tool to manage their agricultural operations more efficiently, smart, and sustainably.
In 2023, Farmbits went from an “Agtech” (agribusiness startup) to a “Digital Commerce” company, expanding its portfolio with services for home, hobby, and garden products, in addition to specific products for farmers and professionals in the agricultural industry. The collaboration comes at a crucial time for both companies, marking a significant step in the evolution of Farmbits as an innovative digital commerce platform, which has always prioritized the customer journey in agribusiness, expanding to the entire supply chain value and covering Belagrícola’s activities.
